Welcome. The aim of this site is simple - to rail against the slow, but steady chipping away of traditonal American values by a host of groups & individuals bent on destroying them.

Penn & Teller Can Go To Hell(er)

A recent Showtime Penn & Teller episode called "Holier Than Thou" has reportedly trashed Mother Teresa & the Catholic Church in a most vile & vulgar manner. According to Dr. William Donahue, President of the Catholic League, the show was a "Nazi-like assault on Catholicism, and on the person the show calls "Mother F***ing Teresa."

Donahue continued, "In the 12 years that I have been president of the Catholic League, I have never witnessed a more vicious attack on Catholicism than what appeared this week on the Showtime program 'Penn and Teller.' The episode, 'Holier Than Thou,' was a frontal assault on Mother Teresa and her order of nuns, Missionaries of Charity (as well as Gandhi and the Dali Lama).

"Like most Americans, I like parodies and have no problem, per se, with irreverent humor. But when humor becomes insult, that is a different story. And that is what happens here: comedy quickly morphs to vitriol. Indeed, as the show progresses, the level of anger becomes palpable and the degree of distortion becomes mindboggling. This is no comedy - it is Nazi propaganda right out of the Leni Riefenstahl school of filmmaking.

"The Mother Teresa that the world has come to love and revere is made to look like a cruel, exploitative, self-serving nun who ripped off the poor. We are told that Mother Teresa intentionally let the poor suffer, providing neither beds nor bathroom facilities. 'She had the f***ing coin and pissed it away on nunneries,' says Penn. As for the nuns who worked with Mother Teresa, they are referred to as 'f***ing c***s.'

"It does not bother me when they call me 'Catholic Boy' on the show (though the term 'Jew Boy' would never cross their lips), nor does it concern me when they talk about 'f***ers like Bill Donahuee [who] only see good in her.' But when they mock the Catholic Church's teaching on the meaning of suffering, and when they say of the poor that 'They had to suffer so that Mother F***ing Teresa could be enlightened,' then they are behaving like monsters." Donahue vowed that Viacom, owners of Showtime, has not heard the last of this.

This hate speech against Christianity is typical of the "enlightened" Radical Left in this country. They preach tolerance & love towards all things, except Western culture & religion. They are the first to complain about a Koran that was touched without gloves by an American soldier or about a Guantanimo terrorist inmate who has not been freed, while foaming at the mouth & spitting hate towards Christians & America. Their erroneous & delusional rants about Bush's "war crimes" are all consuming, yet they say nary a word about the mass slaughter of Iraqis by Saddam. They are the lowest form of hypocrite.

Take notice also that they can't get a point across without vulgar language or gross behavior. If the likes of this ilk were to be in control of the country you would quickly see re-education camps springing up - because these Radical Leftists know what's best for the rest of us.

We condemn Showtime & the trashy production executives who allowed this episode to air - it shows where their mindsets are. We also condemn the clowns in the audience watching the show & laughing along. They are either too superficial to realize that a foul mouth is not in itself funny or too intellectually numb to know when pure hate replaces entertainment.

Pentagon Admits To Defiling Holy Korean

Pentagon officials today finally admitted that guards at Guantanamo Bay purposefully & repeatedly defiled & desecrated Holy Koreans. In a stunning admission, the officials said that at least 50 Holy Koreans were violated by spitting on them, throwing them on the floor, putting them near dirt & in one instance, trying to flush a Holy Korean down a toilet.

In a news release titled "Guards Just Wanna Have Fun", the Pentagon lauded the guards for their sense of humor & creativity in their attempts to break up the boredom of the job. "We have specific rules on how to handle Holy Koreans in a respectful way, but hell, who reads that crap anyway? In fact, the guards flushed the rules down a toilet too", said a spokesman.

In the case of the Holy Korean flushing, the spokesman reported that, " one guard saw this small Holy Korean lying on a bed. Having juiced out the flavor of his chewing gum, the guard looked for a little more excitement. He went into the cell, grabbed & spit on the Holy Korean with the wad of gum & then went over to the toilet, where he proceeded to dump the Holy Korean into it. The guard made repeated attempts with a plunger until the Holy Korean finally went down. Receiving a scratched arm in the effort, the guard was later awarded a Purple Heart."

The spokesman quoted the guard as saying, "Who woulda thought that a small Holy Korean could give me such trouble. Hell, I've flushed loads bigger then that with no problem. But the little Asian guy just didn't want to go down."

The Pentagon spokesman hinted that the Defense Department might consider using toilet-flush training for all its guards in preparation for the arrival of any French inmates. Or Democrats, we might add.

From Campus to Compound: Shackling Students

A Pennsylvannia high school found a couple of anonymously written bomb threats over 2 days. Neither the culprit nor any bomb were found. However the reaction to the bomb threat by the school administration is curious indeed & further demonstrates that our schools are fast becoming rigidly garrisoned compounds of overreaction & inane zero tolerance temporary holding cells for students. Those of us who are out of school should be thankful.

In response to the bomb threat, from now on students can only bring books, notebooks and things to write with to school. Book bags, purses and gym bags are banned. Lunch bags will be inspected.

Our hats are off to those brave teachers or aides who must face death daily by opening a lunch bag not knowing whether they will come face to face with a bomb or baloney. It is assumed that staff & faculty are above doing mischief & so do not fall under the "no bags" policy. Common sense is not a requirement to be a school administrator. Read the article here.

News Media Meltdown Continues - Now It's the Newspaper Guild & NBC

The Newspaper Guild is a group which represents 35,000 journalists. It's President, Linda Foley, mouthed off recently that U.S. soldiers are deliberately killing journalists:

"Journalists, by the way, are not just being targeted verbally or ... ah, or ... ah, politically. They are also being targeted for real, um ... in places like Iraq. What outrages me as a representative of journalists is that there is not more outrage about the number, and the brutality, and the cavalier nature of the U.S. military toward the killing of journalists in Iraq. They target and kill journalists ... uh, from other countries, particularly Arab countries like Al -, like Arab news services like Al-Jazeera, for example. They actually target them and blow up their studios with impunity."

Where is her proof? Where is the documentation? Professional standards? Ha! All the cow can do is rant with unbelieveably outrageous & unsubstantiated claims. She's a real credit to her profession & she helps feed into the terrorist's & radical Muslim's agenda with her wild claims.

In the same manner, NBC's "Today" show added fuel to that fire when they were discussing the Newsweak magazine flap over its phony Koran desecration story. Correspondent Richard Engel thus spoke:

"There's one rumor spreading today in local newspapers. It's been on the local television and it was also broadcast on the Al-Jazeera (a source you can trust, wink, wink...ed)television network. It's that U.S. Marines, while raiding a mosque in Ramadi, kicked a Quran and then took it and spray painted in black paint a cross right on top of the Quran."

Engel spoke of another rumor: "It said that during a search of a woman's bag, U.S. soldiers with a team of dogs were sniffing through her bag. She (female terrorist suspect) had a Quran in her bag. The dog pulled the Muslim holy book out of the bag with its mouth and the soldiers started laughing. [She said] she was raped every night by six American soldiers."

Not having learned from the Newsweak debacle about stirring up Muslim passions with unsubstantiated stories, Engel fed right into the anti-American crowd by further spreading the rumors of U.S. military crimes against Islam & thus risking further damage to U.S. policy & reputation.

What is wrong with the news media? What is wrong with journalists? They call themselves "professionals" (although to be a journalist requires no certifications or even an 8th grade education). However, as is sadly seen day to day, journalists & news outlets continue with their rumor mongering & anonymous sources. They do not let facts get in the way of a story, especially if the story throws a zinger at the Bush Administration or current U.S. foreign policy. This is true of leftist media from The New York Times on down. Editorial standards have been replaced with gossip rather than facts & substantiation. Journalists have been reduced to partisan hack gossips. They are now out-of-control elites with an agenda to push who think their printers ink doesn't stink.

Newsweek Lied - People Died

Newsweek magazine last week published a story by journalist Michael Isikoff (not a Bush administration admirer) & John Barry which claimed that U.S. interrogators at Guantanamo Bay flushed a Koran down a toilet. Newsweek reported that the source was an anonymous "knowledgeable government source" who had previously provided Newsweek with reliable information.

As a result of this story, demonstrations against the U.S. as well as rioting occurred in Afghanistan, which resulted in 15 deaths. Demonstrations were held in Pakistan & other Muslim countries. Muslim clerics called for a Holy War against the U.S. & anti-American feelings swelled.

It turns out that Newsweek was wrong. The "knowledgeable government official" now could not be sure about the desecration of the Koran by U.S. interrogators.

Newsweek, in a dishonest attempt to do damage control instead of outright admitting a blunder, made excuses for their gross failure of journalistic standards. They pointed out the fact that, "yeah...but our anonymous guy was reliable in the past". They stated they put the story before 2 Defense Department officials who did not refute the story, not saying that these officials could neither refute or admit its voracity because they were not in the loop to know. They cited previous reports of Koran desecration from former Guantanamo detainees to back their story, not saying that these detainees were schooled by Al-Qada to float such incendiary rumors.

In a final bout of chutzpah Newsweek editor Mark Whitaker said, "We believed our story was newsworthy because a U.S. official said government investigators turned up this evidence. So we published the item." Whitaker failed to mention that the U.S. official was anonymous & that independent verification was not followed by Newsweek.

"This was reported very carefully, with great sensitivity and concern, and we'll continue to report on it," said Newsweek Managing Editor John Meecham. This in itself is a joke because Newsweek was certainly not sensitive to the outrage from Muslims that their story would create, nor were they concerned with the damage such an unverified story would have on American goodwill in the Muslim countries.

Finally, after failing in damage control & obfuscation, Newsweek officially retracted the story & admitted it was in error. But with a wink & a nod in which a negative can't be proved & which helps assuage Newsweek's culpability, Whitaker told Reuters that Newsweek did not know if the reported toilet incident involving the Koran ever occurred. "As to whether anything like this happened, we just don't know," he said in an interview. "We're not saying it absolutely happened but we can't say that it absolutely didn't happen either." And we at American values are not saying that Whitaker is a transvestite, but we can't say that he absolutely isn't either, wink, wink.

As with the Dan Rather/memogate scandal, this is another example of the mainstream media's sloppy fact-checking process at best or their agenda to disparage the Bush administration at worse. More scandals of this type will follow, we are sure. The mainstream media has lost its professional standards.

As if this makes it better, Newsweek reports, "We regret that we got any part of our story wrong, and extend our sympathies to victims of the violence and to the U.S. soldiers caught in its midst." Not to mention inflaming anti-U.S. hatred & doing immense damage to American interests. Not to mention the deaths that Newsweek caused. They got the whole story wrong. But hey, the story comes first, right or wrong & damn ethics & responsibility.

Here is an interesting article on the diseases that are being brought into this country by the unchecked, uninspected hordes of illegal aliens. Scary.
