The S.S. Oldsmobile

It was 36 years ago today that Ted-I'll have-another-Kennedy drove his watermobile into the bay, thereby killing a young woman. Which reminds us of his audacity( besides covering his butt in the accident) when he questioned Senator Towers at Towers confirmation hearings for Secretary of Defense. Ted-the fun-drunk had the nerve to ask Towers, "Senator, is it true you have a drinking problem?" We think the wrong person got out alive. Just think - no Ted around to buy drinks for.

That was the first time I realized that the Senators in our country are not infallible. I considered myself a liberal then, but even so, I maintained, and still do, that what happened at Chappaquidick was pre-meditated murder. I cite the fact that the family was pressured (or paid) by the Kennedy's to refuse to allow an autopsy, among other things, as suspiscious.
