Welcome. The aim of this site is simple - to rail against the slow, but steady chipping away of traditonal American values by a host of groups & individuals bent on destroying them.

BUSH RE ELECTED!

George Bush was re elected in a close electoral vote. He has won the popular vote by 3-4 million. Kerry, contentious to the end, refuses to concede, claiming provisional ballots in Ohio have not yet been counted. However, considering Bush's lead in Ohio & the number of provisional ballots that will be found invalid & splitting the remainder - good luck Kerry - drag the country into another divisive election like Gore did.

The news channels are a pip. Half of them have scored Ohio for Bush(the others have not although 140,000 vote lead is pretty substantial), bringing Bush's total electoral vote to 269 - 1 shy of 270 needed. However, they refuse to call the remainng states, particularly New Mexico - which would put Bush over the top. In New Mexico, Bush leads with 97% of precincts counted. If Kerry got all votes remaining he still could not win New Mexico. But the media, cohorts of Kerry, just refuse to declare Bush the winner unless it is forced on them. They were quick enough to give New Jersey to Kerry when he led with only 70% of the precincts in. What asses they are.

Francis,

I agree with Kerry and not giving up yet. It is not over till everything is counted. and Dont quote that W won the popular vote, becasue we all know what that means, not a hill of beans since he lost that the last time and still won. I am going to wait till it is all cleared and counted and I will not be a sore loser.. I will take loss gracfully.. No matter who wins I think that the process for voting needs to be reviewed. I am in Fla and we know what happened last time. Well I thought they would have fixed things, but no. Yes there were no chads but they also did not compensate for the idiots that can not understand what they were to do.

Something I heard at the poll I was at.

Man - excuse me, did I fill this out correctly?

Poll worker - Well sir, you can only vote for one person for president, not Bush and Kerry.

Man - Ohh I thought the top one was for the president and the bottom was for the Vice president.

Poll Worker - No sir, the president and Vice president are a package deal.

Man - That is dumb, why cant we choose who will be both?

Poll worker - I'll bet you are voting to increase your minimum wage to 6.16?

Man - Yes I am, how did you know.

Is this what our country has come to?? ha ha

Lets count them all before we decide who will celebrate.. ha ha

Not even gracious in victory. A few hours. What does it matter? If there was a challenge. Then the courts would decide. The decisiveness in the last election was brought about by a victory that did not have backing of the majority of voters - not by the court challenge.

The current decisiveness will be brought about by a Republican President and Congress that doesn't give a rat's -ss about the people of America. Pity the country and world. It will be sorrier place.

Jeff: poll tests went out long ago - so idiots have a right to vote too, clueless though they may be.

Some polls are never wrong. Take the alien poll given by Weekly World News. Right for over 40 years.
