Guard Officer Denies Seeking Help For Bush

An alert commentor brought this to my attention. General Walter Staudt's name was on the infamous fake CBS memo in which it was claimed that he was using pressure against Bush's commander, Lt. Col. Killian, to help "sugarcoat' Bush's performance in the Guard. But Gen. Staudt left the Guard 1 1/2 yrs before the memo was written. Now for the first time Gen. Staudt talks about it & reveals the memo for the fraud it is. Memo to Dan Blather - retire or get fired.
